Abstract

The development of electric vehicles in Indonesia encourages transportation service providers to enhance support facilities, including maintenance and repair workshops. This research was conducted at PT. Mayasari Bakti Pool Cibubur, which operates electric buses under the TransJakarta network. The study aims to redesign the maintenance and repair workshop layout to improve safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulations. The methods used are Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Determining Control (HIRADC) for work risk identification and the Pit Service method to determine the number of service stalls needed. The analysis revealed that the existing layout does not support safe and efficient operations. Several work areas are poorly organized and lack designated pedestrian paths and optimal placement of safety equipment. Based on the hazard identification, a redesign was developed using SketchUp 2023 to align with standard workshop requirements according to Keputusan Menteri Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Nomor 191/MPP/Kep/6/2001. The redesign includes additional support facilities, improved work flow arrangements, and K3 signage placement. The final layout is expected to enhance safety, comfort, and work productivity in the workshop.
