Abstract
The use of technology that is not yet optimal has an impact on the difficulties experienced by examiners when conducting visual inspections of vehicles, calculating dimensions, and vehicle carrying capacity in manual technical requirement testing. Initial observations conducted at the UPTD Dishub Bantul Regency showed that an innovation in the use of technology was needed in the form of an android-based application regarding the results of technical inspections and calculations of dimensions and carrying capacity on vehicles subject to testing, especially for single motorized vehicles. The E-Auto Measure application is an innovation that is relevant to technological developments as an application that can be used by examiners to assist in the implementation of technical requirement testing by digitizing the inspection results and calculating dimensions and carrying capacity automatically. As well as to trigger the effectiveness and efficiency of the implementation of motor vehicle testing in Indonesia, especially in the inspection of technical requirements and measuring dimensions and carrying capacity on vehicles subject to testing. The method used in this study is the Research and Development (R&D) level 4 method with the ADDIE development model. This study was conducted by submitting 10 written questions to 7 respondents who were examiners at the Motor Vehicle Periodic Testing Implementation Unit of the Bantul Regency Transportation Service to determine how effective, efficient, and satisfied with the usability of E- Auto Measure at the Bantul Regency Transportation Service UPTD. The results of the questionnaire based on the usability test produced a SUS score of 94.28, including in the grade A scale which states good and the acceptable range category in the Acceptable/high category. So it can be concluded that the implementation of the Android-based application design E-Auto Measure is effective to use because it has a level of ease, speed, and satisfaction with the product which states the best grade.
