Abstract

Demi terwujudnya transportasi yang aman dan berkeselamatan, maka dalam pelaksanaan Pengujian Kendaraan Bermotor harus dilaksanakan sesuai prosedur dan tahapan yang telah ditetapkan dengan benar dan sesuai dengan pedoman dan acuan. Di Indonesia sendiri masih ditemukannya kasus kecelakaan yang di dominasi kendaraan bus dan truk yang salah satu faktor penyebabnya dikarenakan adanya kegagalan sistem pengereman yang menggunakan rem angin terhadap kendaraan bermotor. Dari penelitian ini maka diperlukan pelaksanaan pemeriksaan teknis terhadap sistem rem angin kendaraan bermotor. Data yang telah di peroleh dan di masukkan dalam rumusan masalah, lalu dilakukannya triangulasi sumber data untuk mendapat simpulan pada data tersebut. Berdasarkan observasi yang di peroleh yaitu pemeriksaan persyaratan teknis pada kendaraan bermotor belum berjalan secara benar karena penguji tidak melakukan sesuai regulasi standar operasional prosedur pemeriksaan. Kata Kunci : Pengujian Kendaraan Bermotor, Rem Angin, Regulasi, Standar Operasional Prosedur. In order to realize safe and safe transportation, the implementation of Motor Vehicle Testing must be carried out according to the procedures and stages that have been set correctly and in accordance with the guidelines and references. In Indonesia, there are still cases of accidents that are dominated by buses and trucks and one of the contributing factors is the failure of the braking system for motorized vehicles. From this study the data that has been obtained and entered in the formulation of the problem, then triangulation of data sources is carried out to get conclusions on the data. Based on the observations obtained, namely the inspection of technical requirements on motorized vehicles has not been running properly because the examiners did not comply with the standard operating procedures for the inspection.
