Abstract
The development of digital technology has spurred various innovations in education, one of which is the use of Virtual Reality (VR)-based learning media. In the field of motor vehicle testing, the conventional learning process faces various obstacles such as limited equipment and time. Therefore, this research aims to develop VR-based digital learning media using the MilleaLab platform, which can provide interactive simulations of motor vehicle roadworthiness testing. This can be an innovative solution to increase the effectiveness of student practicum activities at the Road Transportation Safety Polytechnic. This research uses a Research and Development (R&D) method with the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) model, which includes six stages: concept, design, material collection, production, testing, and distribution. The developed learning content includes an introduction to test equipment such as Smoke Testers, Gas Analyzers, Side Slip Testers, and others, delivered interactively using MilleaLab features such as videos, pop-up info, images, and quizzes. Content creation is done without coding, simply using drag and drop, making the platform user-friendly for non-technical educators. The evaluation of this learning media, conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS), yielded an average score of 80.34, which falls into the "Very Good" category. This indicates that the VR-based learning content is considered excellent and suitable for use. Therefore, this medium is expected to be an effective and efficient learning alternative, enhancing students' understanding before engaging in direct field practice.
