Abstract
Terminal sebagai bagian vital dari sistem transportasi darat memiliki peran penting dalam menunjang mobilitas masyarakat serta menjamin keselamatan dan kelayakan kendaraan bermotor umum. Terminal Tipe A Purboyo Madiun, yang saat ini dikelola oleh Kementerian Perhubungan, merupakan terminal strategis yang melayani trayek AKDP dan AKAP. Setelah mengalami revitalisasi dan diresmikan pada tahun 2024, terminal ini terus berupaya meningkatkan pelayanan serta penerapan pemeriksaan teknis kendaraan (rampcheck) demi mendukung keselamatan berkendara. Dalam rangka memahami proses tersebut secara langsung, taruna/i Program Studi Diploma III Teknologi Otomotif Politeknik Keselamatan Transportasi Jalan melaksanakan kegiatan magang selama satu bulan di Terminal Tipe A Purboyo. Kegiatan ini memberikan pengalaman nyata dalam pelaksanaan operasional terminal, pendataan kendaraan dan penumpang, serta pelaksanaan inspeksi keselamatan kendaraan bermotor, sehingga menjadi bekal penting untuk membentuk tenaga penguji yang kompeten dan profesional di bidang transportasi darat.
